Sarah Alessandria, known as Sacca, is a captivating performer specializing in fixed trapeze. Her passion for suspension and heights ignited in a small amateur circus school in Italy, where she first encountered the trapeze. From those early days, Sacca’s journey led her to rigorous training in Italy and at ESAC in Brussels. Though she kicks off her shoes at home, she never does so on her trapeze. Her dynamic performances deconstruct lines and shapes through the use of vibrant characters, drawing audiences into the unique, immersive worlds she creates in the air.

A silhouette floats gracefully in the air, holding what appears to be a microphone. In this surreal performance, Sacca transforms the trapeze into a stage for a peculiar, yet mesmerizing act. With black heels accentuating her every move, she punctuates the air with rhythmic echoes that contrast against her longing for the ground. Each ascent and descent on the trapeze creates a living artwork, where every motion is a brushstroke in an ever-evolving canvas. As she perches on her heels, she unveils a hauntingly beautiful melody, a soaring refrain that drifts through the space with an ethereal, enigmatic quality.
