Born in the USA and based in Berlin, CCL is praised for their innovative and genre-defying DJ sets, which seamlessly blend dub, bass, contemporary electronics and expertly executed drum and bass. CCL specializes in the liquefaction of rhythmic and melodic matter and combustive phase transitions through cowgirl-breaks, trip-funk, wiggle steppers. CCL’s experimental and versatile approach has earned them recognition for bold innovation within the electronic music community. Additionally, CCL is the founder of subglow, a queer party, label, and platform based in Berlin, hosting events at venues like OHM, featuring artists known for their unique textures and sounds.

Objekt is the moniker of TJ Hertz, a producer and DJ born in Tokyo to British-American and Filipino parents. He grew up in Belgium and the United Kingdom before settling in Berlin in 2009. Objekt first gained attention with self-released white-label 12”s in 2011, showcasing his intricate and genre-blending productions. His debut album Flatland, released in 2014, was followed by Cocoon Crush in 2018, both on the PAN label.

In 2024, he launched his own record label, Kapsela, with the aim of providing a flexible platform for unconventional and experimental music. Objekt’s DJ sets are known for their unpredictability and technical precision, often crossing multiple genres and tempos, reflecting his technical background and meticulous approach to sound design.
