Danilo Plessow and Horst have gone hand in hand, ever since his appearance at Horst 2017, back when the festival took place in Holsbeek. Renowned for his broad musical knowledge and holistic approach to production, as well as his technical wizardry behind the turntables, Danilo Plessow’s career has been one of constant redefinition and a curiosity for expanding into new genres. Launched in the late 00s, the MCDE project proved highly influential, leading to big remix commissions, respected compilations (DJ Kicks and fabric among them) and an ever-expanding touring schedule. These days he can be found sound engineering and releasing contemporary disco and boogie through his label Space Grapes, though he still found time in 2025 to put out the banging ‘Acid Reaction’ EP. Danilo last came to Horst Festival in 2021, so we’re thrilled to have him back again this year.
