Since his first release in 2011, Dan Snaith’s Daphni alias has become a fixture in the world of underground dance music. He has released 3 albums: ‘Jiaolong’ (2012), ‘Joli Mai’ (2017) and ‘Cherry’ (2022); plus 2019’s ‘Sizzling’ EP. Daphni tracks have populated the DJ sets of many of dance music's most forward-thinking DJs, and as a DJ himself, Dan has gained a reputation for varied and extended DJ sets in some of the world's finest clubs, from fabric to Panorama Bar, Nowadays and Nitsa. But appearances as Daphni are rare: balancing time between recording material as both Daphni and Caribou, and touring internationally, means that a Daphni DJ set, when it happens, is something worth savouring.
