Emma Caers is a DJ and visual artist from Leuven, based in Brussels. She started out by enchanting listeners with ambient and downtempo sets, mainly through the airwaves, and continues to be a regular presence on Brussels radio stations Kiosk and GIMIC. Over the past year, she has also stepped further into club-oriented sounds, exploring how her worldbuilding translates onto a dancefloor. Just as she tells stories through her visual work, she likes to bring a similar narrative depth into her musical selections. Expect a wide range of early electronic music, from the industrial tones of the 80s, darkwave and minimal wave, to 90s trip-hop, leftfield, electro and trippy, experimental ambient tunes.
