Felix K is a DJ and producer from Berlin whose musical output can be found across a tangled web of aliases and self-run labels. Starting out as a dnb DJ in the late 90s, in the mid 00s he switched to collecting techno and house records, though he has never forgotten the influences of those early days. His labels include 0000 (Nullpunkt), Hidden Hawaii, Gilga, QNS, SUB and Solaris Series, and recently he has collaborated with Forest Drive West and DB1 on the project LEVL. Beneath all of his work sits an immense intertext of inspirations from music and movies to art and architecture, resulting in a stylistic variety more tethered to mood than genre. When DJing he embraces the art of storytelling, blending dub weight, early-jungle pulse and techno precision into sets that are sparse, physical and built for proper sound systems.
