Driven by an insatiable curiosity for sound, JakoJako (Sibel Koçer) traded her nursing career for a life immersed in synths. Working at Berlin’s SchneidersLaden, she honed her deep understanding of Eurorack systems, shaping a unique approach where technical mastery meets raw emotion.
Her releases on Leisure System, BPitch, Tresor, and Figure, along with remixes for New Order and Martin Gore, highlight her expansive sonic palette. Her debut album Metamorphose (Bigamo) and collaborative LP In Vere with Rødhåd cemented her as a key figure in contemporary electronic music.
A Berghain resident, JakoJako has performed at Dekmantel, Awakenings, Elevate, and WHOLE, as well as collaborating on motion-sensor dance projects and a standout live set at the Royal Albert Hall with Bonobo. Whether DJing, producing, or performing live, her sound remains ever-evolving—pushing the boundaries of modular synthesis and electronic expression.
