Vera is a DJ and sound practitioner with roots reaching back to the early 90s golden age of techno and house. In the mid 00s she became a resident at the legendary Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, while also releasing a string of elegant, intuitive tracks on taste-making labels like Perlon, Oslo and Hello? Repeat. Her sound is always varied, deeply personal and yet highly relatable, and provides that rare thing in an increasingly superficial world: an authentic point of view. Working in the same lineage is Lola Haro, whose early teenage years were spent digging and collecting at Wally’s Groove World, helping define her versatile taste and growth as a DJ. In 2022, Lola founded the label Small Steps, hosting regular events and establishing a residency at Kiosk Radio. After a stellar b2b at FOLD last summer, Vera and Lola Haro come back together to go deep at Horst Festival.
