moe. is a Berlin-based party lover, dancer, DJ and radio host whose globetrotting life has influenced his approach to playing music and organising events. Having pursued the magical feeling of dancefloors for many years in places like New Orleans, Kuala Lumpur, Stockholm and Dubai, he finally began to DJ at the age of 37 after seeing a particularly inspiring set by Theo Parrish. Six years later and he is a resident at Refuge Worldwide, a co-host of the non-profit Loft-style community party Endless Groove, initiator of the gender-inclusive, BIPOC-supporting platform Black Is…, and founder of Wild Combination, a series of multi-collective showcases benefitting essential causes. We admire anyone who can go b2b with Mr Scruff for seven hours, as moe. did in Berlin a year ago, so we are very excited to hear what he brings to this year’s Horst Festival.
