Rotterdam-based Nelly draws inspiration from nature and her own inner world to create a sense of belonging for herself and her audience every time she performs. Lacing mind-altering techno with spellbinding trance, she captures dancers with dark but elegant sounds. She held a residency at Garage Noord in 2023, and has played at festivals like Monument and Dekmantel. Sharing Nelly’s profound connection to nature is Marius Bø, one of the co-founders of the Oslo-based collective Ute. Marius’ sound took root hosting and playing parties deep in the woods, where he would deftly connect the dots between old school records and futuristic soundscapes. Following their heralded five-hour b2b at the new year’s Rather Lost party, we are thrilled to have Nelly and Marius transcend with us at Horst Festival.
