Night Moves is the long-running collaborative project founded in 2012 by DJs, friends and professional beaver-fanciers Jade Seatle and Jane Fitz. An itinerant event, their first party was held in a dodgy Dalston basement, before moving to Hackney, Wembley and, for the inaugural Day Moves party, a canal-side allotment accessible only by barge. For every edition Jade and Jane dig back into their collections to tell the story of their shared musical friendship anew. The project was consecrated on the ‘The Sound Of Night Moves’ compilation released in 2022, which is as good as a primer as you will find for their deep, pumping and emotional selection. In recent years the two have taken Night Moves overseas to Berlin and Tohoku, and now they bring the same impeccable vibes to this year’s Horst Festival.
