Shabz is a Brussels-based selector and one of the minds behind the much-loved party series Sundaze. After developing a deep interest in hip-hop culture during his adolescence, he steadily opened up to the many different musical paths the samples in those tunes led him along. Whether moving slow on his residency at GIMIC radio and in his collaboration with DJ Rino and Moustie as the Slowriders, or stirring up the dancefloor energy on the RA stage at Horst in 2023, Shabz is always looking for warm, organic sounds that evoke some kind of liberation.
