Stella Zekri describes her mixing style as one led by emotion rather than an adherence to razor-sharp beatmatching. In other words, she simply plays soulfully. Soon after moving to Berlin in 2015, she came upon a passion for collecting records, starting with hip-hop, funk, soul, jazz and boogie. Over the years since then, Stella has become a signature member of Berlin’s club community, well-known for her wide knowledge of classic, groove-driven house and disco, as well as deep dubs and acid, and also for her work in the collective Body Language founded in 2021. Having torn it down on our La Soleil Rouge stage in 2023, she’s back to play on our new streaming stage with The Lot Radio & Kiosk Radio.
