House legend and Grammy award winner Todd Edwards’ musical career began in the early 90s, when, working across the pond in his native New Jersey, he unwittingly invented the sound that would turn into UK garage. Those early records had an incomparable influence on the subsequent development of house and garage and their many sub-genres, his use of vocal samples as instrumentation and lively, disco-flavoured basslines acting as a blueprint for countless producers and scenes to come. Besides his own productions, he has remixed everyone from Enya to St Germain to TLC, and of course famously produced the songs ‘Face To Face’ and ‘Fragments Of Time’ for Daft Punk. In recent years, Todd has continued his prolific output collaborating with Groove Armada, releasing on DJ EZ’s label and bringing his uplifting sound to venues and festivals internationally.
