Brussels-based designer Kenza Taleb Vandeput embodies the rich cultural mosaic of her dual Algerian and Belgian heritage. This duality isn't just reflected in her name; it fuels the very essence of her brand, Kasbah Kosmic.
She studied one year at the Royal Academy of Antwerp and also honed her skills in the world of vintage that is an important element in shaping her design philosophy. These experiences instilled in her a keen eye for sourcing unique materials and a deep understanding of textile potential in pre-owned garments, and shows a certain sentimentality for these pre-owned garments. So it’s been very natural for Kenza to choose to work with a circular approach.

Kenza's journey extends beyond fashion. Her exploration in social art practices by collaborating with neurodivergent artists show her commitment to a "radical imagination” highlighting her deep-rooted belief in inclusivity. This fuels her desire to empower individuals through self-expression, fostering a more vibrant and diverse world.

In 2019, she launched the brand Kasbah Kosmic with the idea of using fashion as a bridge to connect cultures and celebrate individuality. Her work is a testament to the transformative power of inclusivity and the beauty that arises from embracing diverse backgrounds.
Furthermore, Kenza's expertise extends to bespoke design. As a creative director, she crafted made-to-measure fashion pieces for advertising campaigns, artists, and exhibitions displayed at prestigious institutions like MIMA (Brussels), MUHKA (Antwerp), and Droog Gallery in Amsterdam.

De in Brussel gevestigde ontwerpster Kenza Taleb Vandeput belichaamt het rijke culturele mozaïek van haar dubbele Algerijnse en Belgische afkomst. Deze dualiteit komt niet alleen tot uiting in haar naam, maar vormt ook de essentie van haar merk Kasbah Kosmic.
Kenza studeerde een jaar aan de Koninklijke Academie van Antwerpen en verfijnde haar vaardigheden in de wereld van vintage, een belangrijk element in het vormgeven van haar ontwerpfilosofie. Deze ervaringen hebben haar een scherp oog bijgebracht voor het vinden van unieke materialen en een diep begrip van het textielpotentieel van tweedehands kleding en toont een zekere sentimentaliteit voor deze tweedehands kleding. Het was dus heel natuurlijk voor Kenza om te kiezen voor een circulaire aanpak.

Kenza's reis gaat verder dan mode, haar verkenning van sociale kunstpraktijken door samen te werken met neurodiverente kunstenaars toont haar toewijding aan een “radicale verbeelding” die haar diepgewortelde geloof in inclusiviteit benadrukt. Dit voedt haar verlangen om individuen te empoweren door middel van zelfexpressie en het bevorderen van een meer levendige en diverse wereld.

Kenza's expertise strekt zich ook uit tot design op maat. Als creatief directeur heeft ze kledingstukken op maat gemaakt voor reclamecampagnes, kunstenaars en tentoonstellingen in prestigieuze instellingen zoals MIMA (Brussel), MUHKA (Antwerpen) en Droog Gallery in Amsterdam.

What’s a Rich Text element?

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
