Job description

  • Prepare the bar for opening, ensure the bar runs smoothly, and properly close down at the end of the night.
  • Manage the bar team and train new staff members to ensure everyone is up to speed.
  • Maintain high standards for speed and quality of bar service throughout the night.
  • Help out where needed while supervising and directing the team.
  • Maintain clear communication with staff managers during and after the club weekend regarding staffing, scheduling, and stock levels.
  • Maintain high spirits among staff members, even during periods of stress.

Profile

  • Experience in horeca is a must, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Managing a group of people gives you energy.
  • Knows how to motivate a team during difficult moments.
  • Demonstrates strong insight into staff scheduling and proactively adjusts based on real-time and expected demand.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
  • Works responsibly, attentively, and proactively.
  • Friendly and helpful when dealing with people, even under stress.
  • Keeps order and cleanliness close to heart.
  • Flexible mindset and willing to step in with other tasks during quieter moments.
  • Comfortable working night shifts.
  • Comfortable communicating in English.
  • Available for the 5 club weekends: October 17–18, November 28–29, December 31–January 1, February 13–14, March 27–29 (negotiable).
  • Must be eligible to work under a Flexi-job or Student status.
