Bartender

Job description

• Help set up the bar before opening.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Take and serve drink orders efficiently.
• Act as a friendly point of contact for guests' inquiries and concerns.
• Inform bar and/or staff managers of any issues or supply needs.
• Help clean up the bar and club at closing time.
• Occasionally take on a shift as a runner (restocking bars) or sweeper (clearing cups and bottles from the dance floor and surrounding areas).

Profile

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required.
• Works responsibly, attentively, and proactively.
• Friendly and helpful when dealing with people, even under stress.
• Keeps order and cleanliness close to heart.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Flexible mindset and willing to step in with other tasks during quieter moments.
• Comfortable working night shifts.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Available for the 5 club weekends: October 17–18, November 28–29, December 31–January 1, February 13–14, March 27–29 (negotiable).
• Must be eligible to work under a Flexi-job or Student status.
