Near the entrance of Asiat Park, a new in situ artwork creates a dialogue between textile softness and the site’s raw industrial character.
Inner Sky transforms an existing canopy into a suspended village. A series of hanging shapes, reminiscent of medieval tents and symbolic houses, float overhead, each one sheltering a fragment of domestic life: a table, a window, a fireplace, and familiar objects drawn from shared memory.
In the spirit of South Korean artist Do Ho Suh, these structures suggest that home is something carried rather than fixed. Yet here, the interiors are not empty; foliage spills over edges, plants climb across surfaces, and insects and snails appear as the quiet residents of these imaginary homes. A parallel life, discreet and persistent, unfolding alongside our own. Inner Sky does not merely depict houses; it evokes the feeling of dwelling, protection, and coexistence with the living world, even in the most transient of places.
By looking up, visitors discover a constellation of intimate scenes alive with a quiet natural presence. The covered passage becomes an inner street, a place where domestic space and living nature intertwine. This sheltered passage invites visitors to slow down, serving as both a transition into the heart of the park and a festive destination for communal dinners that fuels the site’s creative revival.

Delphine Dénéréaz (1989°, Vaison-La-Romaine, FR) lives and works in Villedieu, France. She is a resident at Atelier Vé (Marseille) and co-founder of the Monstera collective. Raised in a rural environment, she graduated in Textile Design from La Cambre before turning to Fiber Art through lirette, a medieval technique she adapts to metal and wooden supports. By freeing tapestry from a purely decorative function, her hyper-colorful works sit between craftsmanship and magic, drawing on ancestral and popular knowledge while infiltrating the symbols of late capitalism.
Since 2017, her work has been shown at Villa Noailles, Friche Belle de Mai, Marsatac Festival, Le Consulat (Paris), Galerie Slika, and internationally. She has taken part in residencies in France, Chile, and Nigeria, and recently held solo exhibitions at Collection Lambert (2023), Chapelle XIV, and Les Abattoirs, Toulouse (2025).

Inner Sky transformeert de bestaande luifel tot een zwevend dorp. Een reeks hangende vormen, die doen denken aan middeleeuwse tenten en symbolische huizen, zweven boven ieders hoofd; elk tafereel herbergt fragmenten van het huiselijke leven: een tafel, een raam, een haardvuur en vertrouwde voorwerpen geput uit het gedeelde geheugen.
Geïnspireerd op de Zuid-Koreaanse kunstenaar Do Ho Suh suggereren deze structuren dat een thuis iets is dat je meedraagt in plaats van iets dat vaststaat. De interieurs die worden afgebeeld zijn niet leeg; gebladerte groeit over de randen, planten klimmen over oppervlakken en insecten en slakken verschijnen als de stille bewoners van deze imaginaire woonkamers. Inner Sky lijkt een parallel leven dat zich ontvouwt naast dat van ons en roept een gevoel op van bewoning, bescherming en samenhorigheid, zelfs op de meest vergankelijke plekken.
Door omhoog te kijken, ontdekt men intieme scènes die verstrengelen met de levende natuur. Deze beschutte doorgang nodigt uit tot vertragen en dient zowel als een overgangszone naar het hart van het park als een feestelijke bestemming voor bijeenkomsten en ontmoetingen.

Sinds 2017 is haar werk tentoongesteld in onder meer Villa Noailles, Friche Belle de Mai, Marsatac Festival, Le Consulat (Parijs), Galerie Slika en op diverse internationale locaties. Ze nam deel aan residenties in Frankrijk, Chili en Nigeria, en hield onlangs solotentoonstellingen in de Collection Lambert (2023), Chapelle XIV en Les Abattoirs in Toulouse (2025).

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
